Terrell Coleman

Instructor

"When I left Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in November on 1987, I can only wonder where the road would lead and 35 years in the future, now I know. Literally thousands of auctions later, several states, countless people and friends that I have made, my career has been filled with everything from excitement to heartache. From mathematics to psychology; the one thing that is for sure is that I wouldn't trade it for anything."

Terrell attended Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in November of 1987 and began his auction career by following in his fathers footsteps as a livestock auctioneer and eventually making his way into the auto auction.

After joining the Texas Auctioneer Association in 2001 and the National Auctioneer Association in 2004 he was fortunate to become the State Auctioneers Association State Champion in 2006 and then elected to the board of directors in 2008 and 2009.

With an extensive career in the industry as a contract auctioneer and auto auction owner, from the stress of having been a contestant and the pleasure of having been a judge, the one thing that he treasures the most is being inducted into the TAA Hall of Fame in 2022.

Terrell Makes his home in Marshall, Texas and is focused mainly in the auto auction industry. He currently works 5 auto auctions weekly, boat and RV auctions monthly, and exotic animal auctions quarterly.
